We are pleased to announce that this unique 9 story office building has been awarded the Best in the World Office building by the ENR.  Developer Harwood Design Factory, builder Sphinx Construction and architect Kengo Kuma Associates of Japan brought a vision to life.  The building consists of seven floors that are all different angles lending the twist to the building along with the incorporated terraces at the office level floors. The envelope of the building is a vertical butt glazed system supporting custom aluminum fins with wood grain at the bottom of the fins. The fins not only are shading devices but also are part of a unique handrail design. The 8th and 9th levels consists of a spanning curtainwall and glass screen and is accompanied by a roof top garden area for outdoor relaxing.  You are welcomed at the first floor by a fountain and deep soffits and a full height structural glass wall.

Visit ENR for the complete publication of the award winners from around the world.  For Southern Glass, we are thankful and proud to have been a part of this project.
