With the growing populous in the Plano, Richardson and Garland area, Methodist Hospital decided it was necessary to rise to the occasion.  The original four story held its grand opening in April 2014. The addition of the new two story vertical expansion is almost complete.  The challenge of removing the roof structure, tying into the existing structure and keeping the hospital functional was overcome with the proper planning and cooperation from everyone involved.  The serpentine curtainwalls, with sunshades and the multi span curtain wall tower accented with blue glass makes this hospital a work of art and beauty.
